Core Gameplay Loop
"Secrets of Paradise" is a merge-2 casual puzzle game with a blend of story-driven quests and island resort building. The core gameplay loop centers on merging items to fulfill in-game orders and completing tasks that restore the island. At a high level, players will follow a cycle of actions such as:
- Collect & Merge Items: Gather basic items on a merge board and combine identical items to progress.
- Complete Orders/Tasks: Deliver the merged item to fulfill a character’s request or an environmental task (often framed as customer orders or repair jobs).
- Earn Rewards: Gain experience points (XP) and in-game currencies (like coins) upon completion. XP contributes to player leveling, while coins and other rewards help in further progression.
- Progress Story & Build Resort: Use the completed task to advance the story or rebuild part of the resort. New quests unlock, feeding back into step 1 as you gather and merge more items for the next objectives.
